Eamesie and chairs

Sounds pretty boring, right?
Anyways, I was writing a paper about the history of chairs (it’s even more boring than it sounds) and came across two chair desingers Charles and Ray Eames. I knew about the fact that Eamesie was named after them, but I never really read anything about it. So, I decided to google them to see why they’re so special. So, I was going through the pictures of chair designs and saw this:

I was like “Cool! So, they are the ones that created this type of…”
Wait, what?
Is that… Is that Eamesie’s chair?
And then it clicked. This IS The Chair.

Sitting on this type of chair Eames kicked another chair (I know, this episode is all about the sexual tension between Arthur and Eames… But that chair… I mean, Chris really thought about it, right?.. But I missed it. Because of my otp feelings… Let me just have a moment.)

He was the only one in the room sitting on that kind of chair.

He even sits the way Charles Eames does.

And then, all these different chairs he was sitting on…

Eamesie is the king of Chairs…

I know I’m slow and this is so random. But Mr. Nolan, you are genius. Genius. All these details…

(And I’m probably just making all this stuff up, because I’ve watched this movie too many times…)

Forget it. We go any deeper, we just raise the stakes. I am sitting this one out on this level, boys!
